VectorCSP is looking for an experienced Risk Program Lead to work in the Albuquerque, NM area. 

Job Summary: The Risk Program Lead will be responsible for overseeing the execution of both joint and internal risk management efforts. The Risk Program Lead shall have demonstrated expertise in various DoD Risk Management Framework and processes.

 Requirement:

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance

 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business, engineering management, science or engineering.
  • At least 6 years of experience managing risks relating to DoD major procurement or engineering projects (i.e. ACAT programs).
  • Direct experience in support of the B61 or B83 weapons systems preferred.

Essential Duties:

  • Shall be responsible for managing the internal and joint risk programs.
  •  Will maintain and execute a formal risk management program utilizing a standard risk management framework in compliance with DoD and industry standards of practice.
  • Shall manage, execute and host risk management meetings for the B61-12 program.
  • Shall generate accurate and high-quality summary risk reports for use by senior leadership.
  • Shall analyze, evaluate and recommend changes to improve and implement a more efficient risk management process for the nuclear gravity weapon programs and documented in the Annual Lessons Learned Report.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: 

  • Expertise in industry practices and the DoD Risk Management Framework
  • Shall have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products and standard Risk Management industry tools (i.e. ARM, Polaris) and be able to produce, track and provide metrics on risks and mitigation steps.
  •  Shall have demonstrated proficiency in presentation skills, written and verbal communications and quality control by being able to present to senior-level leadership and be able to produce professional presentations with a high degree of accuracy and quality.
  • Must maintain a familiarity-level knowledge of the gravity systems-specific technical areas, engineering management processes, configuration management control, and industry-standard risk management programs.
