VectorCSP is looking for an experienced System Engineer to work in the Moorestown, NJ area. 

Job Summary:Technically experienced individual who possesses knowledge and understanding of the US Coast Guard Sea Commander Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system.  The CSSQT/IDS Test Engineer is responsible to work with the Coast Guard Technical/ Software Director and Test Director in the development of a test framework and implementation of the technical solution in conjunction with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Coast Guard Sea Commander C4ISR System.  Individuals in this position are also responsible for providing the day-to-day test support including client communications and Sea Commander system software testing.


  • Must have an active Secret Clearance


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or Electrical, Software or Systems Engineering.
  • 5+ years of related experience (or 3+ years with a Master's degree).
  • 5+ years of Combat System Ships Qualification Trials (CSSQT) Knowledge

Essential Duties:

  • Perform testing in system test and integration laboratory, on operational Coast Guard assets, and shore facilities.
  • Author Test Observation Reports and Final Test Reports.
  • Troubleshoot systems under test including sensor and simulation and/or stimulation sources.
  • Perform root cause analysis.
  • Assist with requirements verification, validation and mapping.
  • Perform analysis for engineering review boards.
  • Prepare presentations for Mission Readiness Assessments (MRA) and Combat System Certification Panels (CSCP).
  • Coordinate testing with TEMPEST, Information Assurance, Safety and Combat Systems teams.
  • Create, review and execute test plans and procedures for aviation and NSC platforms.
  • Perform testing in shore test facilities, on asset, and in remote locations; prepares Test Observation Reports.
  • Troubleshoot systems under test and simulation and/or stimulation sources.
  • Assist with requirement and architecture traceability.
  • Provide recommendations for aligning scope for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Systems Acceptance Test (SAT), System Operability, Verification Test (SOVT), CSSQT, Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) events.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Possess a working knowledge of all standard office equipment (phones, computers, scanners, fax machines, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to work independently performing duties of high complexity and accomplish broad objectives with little guidance.
  • Understanding of Coast Guard C4ISR organization preferred
